We wish to inform, that following discussions between the ITUC President and Deputy Presidents and endorsement by the ITUC General Council, Luc Triangle has been appointed Acting General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC).

Luc will take office on 1 May and serve as Acting General Secretary of the ITUC until the Extraordinary ITUC World Congress to be held in September to elect a General Secretary. As agreed by the ITUC General Council in March, the Acting General Secretary will not stand for election at the ITUC Congress.

Luc continues in his position as General Secretary of industriAll Europe.
