General secretary Luc Triangle will lead a high-profile session at the EU Industry Days conference in Brussels on Wednesday, February 6 to address the employment and social aspects of the deep decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries with employers organisations.

Ahead of the conference, Luc Triangle has written an article for Euractiv warning EU leaders that pursuing a low carbon economy with a just transition for workers would pour fossil fuel on the fire of populism.
"There is no avoiding the fact that climate change requires another industrial revolution, but we can avoid millions of working people once again being made to pay for the mistakes of the past," he writes.
