The European worker representatives took the initiative to set up this first gathering which took place in Brussels on 21 February at industriAll Europe’s headquarters. The meeting was not only a good opportunity to get to know each other, but also to discuss the social consequences the integration of Zodiac aerospace could have, including on the scope of Safran European Works Council. Participants of this initial meeting underlined the great importance they all attach to a high standard of social dialogue at European level, which they intend to pursue in the future thanks to their newly established cooperation.

Safran & Zodiac Aerospace: cooperation of European worker representatives successfully launched!
Tuesday 06 March 2018On 13 February, Zodiac Aerospace joined the Safran group one year after the latter announced its intention to acquire this global actor in aircraft equipment. The combination of their activities helps Safran group to become one of the world’s largest aerospace companies, employing +50,000 workers across Europe. No less than a week later, both Safran and Zodiac aerospace worker representatives from all over Europe were on a launching pad to initiate their new cooperation.
