We stand in solidarity with our workers across the EU. Brexit is a concern for all aerospace workers in Europe, not only those in the UK. IndustriAll Europe will continue to meet with MEPs and Permanent Representations here in Brussels to make sure that employment rights and jobs are at the top of everyone’s priorities when it comes to Brexit. The European aerospace sector is a real EU success story and we can’t let Brexit cost jobs for hard working people in this sector.

Trade Union representatives were invited to take part in the annual aerospace conference and Ian Waddell used his opportunity as guest speaker to raise the importance of protecting jobs in the aerospace sector post Brexit.

Ian Waddell, Chair of the Aerospace Network, said:
“The aerospace industry is one of the most integrated European industries, Brexit won’t just affect jobs in the UK, it will affect jobs throughout Europe. The annual aerospace conference in the European Parliament focused on growing challenges and this must include protecting jobs and workers’ rights post Brexit.”

Luc Triangle, General Secretary for industriAll Europe, added:
‘’We stand in solidarity with our workers across the EU. Brexit is a concern for all aerospace workers in Europe, not only those in the UK. IndustriAll Europe will continue to meet with MEPs and Permanent Representations here in Brussels to make sure that employment rights and jobs are at the top of everyone’s priorities when it comes to Brexit.
