Birleşik Metal required legal authority from the Ministry of Labour to act as a trade union and engage in collective bargaining. Yet the company does not recognise this and has dismissed workers’ representatives. This is unacceptable! We demand immediate action by Roca to reinstate the dismissed workers and to cooperate with the trade union in Turkey.”
