Join our European demonstration on Friday 18 November
Given the dependence of European sites on decisions taken at the Caterpillar headquarters in Switzerland, the arrangements for the demonstration
are as follows:
Friday 18 November at 11am - Place des Nations, Geneva.
Together, European trade unions demand:
- an end to the restructuring, as well as the safeguarding of sites and know-how, which are much needed in Europe
- that Caterpillar commit to a long-term industrial strategy which ensures the future of its activities throughout Europe
- a genuine social dialogue with Caterpillar's decision-makers, which respects national and European laws on information and consultation for the entire restructuring process
- the discussion and consideration of alternative proposals for sustainable and socially responsible economic development
Join our European demonstration to make your voice heard.
We will request that a trade union delegation led by industriAll Europe be received by the management of Caterpillar Geneva.
